I'm sure I'm not the only guy who has experienced this scenario:
The girl (who never noticed you before) breaks up with her jerk of a boyfriend and comes running to cry on your shoulder. After telling you about everything wrong in her life, she proceeds to recite the old cliche: "Why can't I find a guy like you?" It's like salt in an open wound because, in your mind you're shouting, "I've been here the whole time!"
